The ACCESS Steering Committee is comprised of representatives from each of the six Partner Associations. The Steering Committee:

• Supports the work of the Regional Collaboratives
• Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with ACCESS' committees and task groups, and with the Regional Collaboratives
• Provides leadership for statewide perspective
• Maintains and expands ACCESS' membership
• Manages the affairs of the organization
• Amend the by-laws as needed
• Sets dates and places for meetings

The Steering Committee currently meets on the first and last Thursday of each month in City Hall, Augusta. Karen Cox, the current chair of the Steering Committee, hosts the meetings. Contact Karen at 685-9419 or Karen@ci.augusta.me.us for more information.

The ACCESS Standing Committees are formed and meet as required by the work of the committee and ACCESS.

The Business Committee was formed to develop a planning process to identify and include a wide range of public/private contributors who have a strong mutual interest to jointly promote and expand initiatives that support the Early Care and Education system in Maine communities.
